What is a Social Enterprise Anyway?

What do you get when you pair a business model with positive social impact?
Yup, you guessed it, you get a social enterprise. That’s what this week’s episode of Wedge15TV is all about.

We interviewed emerging enterprise lawyer, Robert Wakulat of Wakulat Dhirani LLP, to get the down low on the difference between a sole proprietorship and a corporation, when you may want to choose one over the other, and we asked him to explain what a social enterprise is all about.

Robert also shared a few reasons for any entrepreneur to consider seeking legal advice when they’re starting out in business. Another juicy episode to help you succeed in your business.

If you’re thinking of starting your own business, or you want to know more about social entrepreneurship, then this episode is for you.

And, we want to hear from you in the comments below: what have your experiences been working with a lawyer as an entrepreneur, and what social enterprises have you come across that are making a difference? We would love to hear from you.

Thanks for watching (and reading). We’ll see you again, in 2 weeks.
