Brief project info
Melissa “Thrives” Vassallo is an advocate and speaker, with a commitment to improving healthcare and accessibility in Canada. She has dedicated her life to helping people “thrive” not just “survive” life. She hired Gloria and Ricardo in spring 2012 to take her work and messages, online.
Together, they built her visual and online brand, brought Melissa onto social media, built her a new website and developed her message through a video reel. She has enjoyed a steady increase in awareness and invitations to official government events since.
“As a new entrepreneur I was looking for a full service social media team with a knowledgable and fresh perspective that I could trust. Because I am my own brand, my virtual team is an extension of me. Gloria and Ricardo exceeded my expectations. They developed my online identity and presented me and my services, better then I could myself. I’m so grateful.”
Melissa Vassallo | Advocate & Speaker
When Melissa met Oprah during her Toronto life class tour and found out it would appear on TV, she had 72 hours to come up with a way to make the most of this very rare opportunity. She hired Gloria and Ricardo and within the next 3 days, they created her online social media presence, built her a temporary website, shot a video, email marketed the event for Melissa. The result: a powerful launch to her online brand with over 1000 views to her website and video in 3 days.
Diamond Jubilee Medal
As a result of Melissa’s new brand and impactful online presence, she was invited to a private luncheon with the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, the Countess of Essex and a few other notable change-makers. She received notice shortly after that she will be receiving the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2013. We’re very proud of her accomplishments.
